True Poker is probably best known for its state-of-the-art graphics and I also appreciate their decision to continue offering service to US citizens. As a comparison to most online poker sites, the avatar details are far beyond the outdated standard. I find that that the advanced software doesn't slow down the games too much despite the fact that players can now multi-table here.
If one of your priorities in online poker is the visual software experience, the 3-D graphics and actual avatar movements at True Poker can really enhance the playing experience. The have a strong bonus if you play at fair stakes and the players are extremely soft. This is a niche site, but with increased promotions and traffic it could have potential.

The promotional offerings are somewhat slim at True Poker, but they've made a recent improvement in their 100% bonus. Through our site, it's a 100% bonus good up to $200. You'll convert each $10 of the bonus to cash for playing each 100 raked hands - a fairly standard requirement. Lower stakes players may have a difficult time seeing a lot of the bonus.. Other True Poker promotions include a $2,500 bonus pool for top fixed limit players, a $40,000 tournament for top leaderboard players, and a player points system. By playing in ring games and tournaments, you can earn either a Bronze, Silver, or Gold ranking which will allow you to play in special freerolls with pretty sizeable prize pools. Aside from the deposit bonus, they've added a new football promotion where you predict who will score the most points per NFL week.
Also, True Poker is beginning to host satellites for the WSOP. They've added a $5,000 heads-up freeroll for their top players each month. Finally, new players can play in Beginner's Sit 'n Go winner-take-all tournaments for $50.. While True Poker hasn't traditionally offered micro-limit tables, they've recently added $10, $25 and $50 no-limit full ring games. This is very nice for low-limit players, or those who just want to take a break and not risk very much of a buy-in. While the skill level seems to range from table to table, generally the competition is quite weak but still aggressive. Flop percentages for full no-limit ring games can easily reach 50% and sometimes climb as high as 60%..
